HISTORY
Raffaele Vitolo in 1926 created a litte firm specialized in trading of sewing threads and haberdashery articles, in the fascinating and historical site of Piazza del Mercato in Naples. After, year by year this firm became more important, changing premises as it became more important, and turning his trade from local market to the Southern of Italy, to the whole Italy. In 1970 years, with the coming of Raffaele’s sons Giorgio and Maurizio the stock of item became bigger and it started the importation from east Asia and east Europe. They changed the trade name in Raffaele Vitolo Srl, and bought new storehouse in Naples at Via Galileo Ferraris 70, of more than 4000 square metres that became the new head office.
The same Raffaele Vitolo managed the firm till 1979, then his son Giorgio and after Maurizio. Today Maurizio Vitolo manage it, with his sons Alessandro and Valeria. The firm is well-known in the southern of Italy for supplying domestic and industrial sawing threads, haberdashery, buttons, zip, laces, tapes, ribbon and so on, and now is estimated in the whole Italy for the large and the extensive choice, the aboundance of goods ready in house, the cheapest prices and the good-quality articles. From 1988 the management and storehouse is in Via Galileo Ferraris 70, while the ancient shop in Piazza Mercato is still there.
ACTIVITY
Raffaele Vitolo srl. is stabilished from more than 80 years in trading haberdashery line, actually produce, directly or by controlled industries, most of haberdashery items. All the items are commercialized and given out in exclusive, with own trademarks, to guarantee a constant quality.The firm has her head offices in Naples, Via Galileo Ferraris 70, with the storehouse for the incoming and for the leaving goods, and have a shop in the historical and ancient Piazza del Mercato in Naples. All other coutry of Italy are served directly or with selling agents. |
